3CX Phone System is a software-based IP PBX for Windows which replaces traditional Public Branch eXchange (PBX) hardware telephone systems. It is based on the international SIP standard, and supports both standard SIP hardware and software telephones. It allows calls to be made via a VOIP service provider or via a traditional Publicly Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) such as Verizon or Frontier. Affordable to install and operate, it includes a web-based configuration interface, voice mail, auto attendant, call hunting and other features. Both commercial and a free editions are available.
