Lions, Leopards and Clouds, oh my!

In an effort to help Mac users migrate to iCloud, Apple is helping with the first step. Users of MobileMe can now get a Snow Leopard DVD for free, then they can upgrade to OS X Lion (for $29.99) and they’re all ready for iCloud. It seems uncertain if Snow Leopard is free for everyone, or just those who have paid for MobileMe.
This summer Mountain Lion, or OS X 10.8, will be joining the Mac family. Mountain Lion will bring along more innovation, much inspired by the iPad and more security measures. It seems the goal of the new OS is to make everything more iCloud friendly.
