Psst…. Apple is probably releasing a new iPhone in 2013, but don’t tell anyone!
Rumors about the iPhone 6 (iPhone 5S?), really? Of course there are rumors about the new iPhone. Breaks in the Apple rumors spectrum are few and far between.
Some of these rumors are:
It’s going to come in different colors! (Only we don’t know what colors.)
And in different sizes! (Can’t say what they’ll be either.)
It will have a release day of May! (Or maybe June…or July.)
According to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, “Our checks indicate that the next iPhone will have more choices for customers. This entails an expansion in both the color patterns and screen sizes with the next iPhone (i.e., likely called the iPhone 5S) that we currently believe will be launched in May/June with certain supply production starting in March/April.”
It’s entirely possible that the new iPhone won’t come out until 4th quarter 2013, as many analysts seem to agree that it will come out this year. Also there are theories that Apple will be releasing an iPhone mini this year as well. As always, we will just have to keep our eyes and ears open and I’m sure we’ll know soon enough.
